Big News! I am taking a huge step and I wanted you to be among the first to know about it:
Over the last year I have undergone training in pro-life apologetics for the purpose of equipping Christians to defend the unborn. In order to take up this challenge effectively and single-mindedly I have left CrossRoads Pregnancy Center (in extremely capable hands) and have founded NextGen Institute. The goal of this organization is to empower our next generation to speak up for the unborn and thereby saving their next generation. We do this mainly by giving live presentations in schools colleges and churches. Not being linked to CrossRoads opens up the opportunity to reach an audience beyond the geographical boundaries of the center.
Good arguments do have an effect on people and Christians can be equipped to defend their pro-life view in a winsome manner as one of my kids’ teachers recently conceded:
“You really did a number on me!” Yesterday before we talked I was pro-choice now I no longer believe abortion is an acceptable option.”
The highest abortion rate is found among 16-24 year-olds. What if we equipped this next generation not only to choose life but also to graciously engage their peers by making a case for life that changes hearts and minds? It is possible for this next generation to make abortion unthinkable.

Already we have several speaking opportunities lined up: 40 Days For Life in Greenville, Palmetto Christian Academy, Erskine College, Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, Southside Baptist Church in Honea Path, Due West ARP Youth Group. Life trajectories can be altered in a moment. Please pray that many young people would be equipped to defend the unborn for the rest of their lives.
